We provide coloured crystals made from 100% recycled glass.
The coating used for the application of colour to glass pieces is polyurethane with high resistance to ultra violet light, abrasion and weather.
The pigments used are those used in high performance paints (eg those used in industrial, automotive and architectural industries).

Pigments are normally semi - transparent; application to glass of the specified colour coating provides a semi-transparent colour which allows a certain amount of light to pass through.
The light through the glass filters infra red and ultra violet light and therefore increases the life span of the coloured coating, even if the top layer is abraded away the colour effect shows through the clear glass, thus providing a very long life even with exposure to the sun.
Actual exposure of this semi-translucent coating, with northerly exposure for a period of 5 years continues to show excellent colour depth. Accelerated UV tests surpassed 7 years simulated light using high intensity waves.
